The Restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday with an open kitchen from 12:00 to 15:00 and Saturday also for dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. The Restaurant is closed on Monday.

  • Delicious lunch at winery outside Vidigueira

    "Our fourth visit to this amazing winery’s restaurant did not disappoint. The roast salt cod was divine and my husband’s pork with mushrooms in mustard sauce was equally delicious. Ribafreixo’s wines are a delight. My favourite is the white Pato Frio (Antao Vaz), while my husband enjoyed the red Gáudio Reserva. (Alicante Bouschet/Touriga Nacional) ... "

    "Tinhamos Reserva, e fomos prontamente atendidos por um staff bastante agradável... Começamos por umas Azeitonas e um paio da região... Como primeiro prato começamos por um polvo no forno com batata a murro e pimentos... super tenrinho e com um sabor de outro mundo. Depois comemos uns medalhões de vitela na grelha, regados com azeite e alho... tb ele super tenro e no ponto... acompanhados por uma batata frita caseira ... "

    "We walked in while driving from Evora to Lagos and hoped they could fit us in without a reservation. They were great, and we had an amazing wine tasting led by their new intern. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and it all made for a great experience. The wines there are amazing, and such a value compared to wine in the US ... "

    "Almoço incrível, uma viagem gastronómica pelos sabores do Alentejo. Queijos, enchidos, tomatada com ovos escalfado e costeletinhas de borrego, exímia confecção da D Natércia e Fátima. O restaurante está inserido numa adega, por isso temos grandes vinhos do Alentejo para acompanhar o repasto, recomendo o vinho a copo assim conseguimos melhor harmonização com os vários momentos ... Some examples of dishes that you can taste in our Restaurant:

Starters : Pão da Vidigueira, olives, garlic butter and parsley, fresh goat cheese, cured sheep cheese, Serpa DOP cheese, paio, chicken pie, codfish cakes, octopus salad in vinaigrette, chickpea salad with codfish , roasted peppers salad, roe salad with peppers, mushroom salad.

Soups and Açordas: Garlic Açorda with Cod and Eggs, Spinach Açorda with Cod Cheese and Eggs, Dogfish Soup,

Fish dishes: Codfish in the oven with olive oil and baked potatoes, octopus in the oven with baked potatoes and peppers.

Meat Dishes: Sirloin steak on the grill with butter and garlic sauce, Sirloin steak with mustard sauce and three peppers, Medallions of veal on the grill drizzled with olive oil and garlic, Lamb chops on the grill grilled with olive oil and garlic , Alentejo-style pork, black pork tenderloins grilled with butter and garlic sauce, black pork tenderloins with mushrooms and mustard sauce.
